Rebranding an Emirate.
The brief from the government was short and specific: “Please provide us with a modern interpretation of the current UAE logo”. To create nation’s brand also means to be responsible for the visualisation of a nations self-perception. Simply put, the design becomes a carrier of culture. Finally, our redesigned icon for the UAE was envisioned to simultaneously embrace the cultural heritage as well as the future of the nation.
